No periods no endo : Hello again everyone... - Endometriosis UK
No periods no endo
Hi Endo321,
It is great that you obviously feel so positive and healthy after your op and I really hope that that continues for you. I also believed that a hysterectomy would 'cure' my endometriosis 3 years ago after 30 months on zolydex and my Consultant (non BSGE) informed me that she had been very thorough and removed everything that was in there (extensive stage 4) ? I am now suffering similar pain to pre operation and am waiting to have it checked out with one of the BSGE clinics. Reading your previous post you say you know that you still have some Endometriosis left in after the operation - I am really not wanting to be the harbinger of doom but there is a lot of new information and statistics out their relating to post hysterectomy endo. I would just encourage you to read up on all the information available ( Lindle knows her stuff) so that you make informed choices relating to your health.
Sending best wishes xx
I'm booked for novasure on Friday. Hoping it stops my hellish periods & reduces the endo symptoms. I was diagnosed minimal endo in 2011. Fingers crossed! X
