Saw a gyne and she said it doesn't feel like I have endo but can you feel it? She was a pretty useless doctor overall should I get a second opinion
Endo trouble : Saw a gyne and she said it... - Endometriosis UK
Endo trouble
The first gynae I saw said she couldn't feel it, the second one I saw said he could and I was diagnosed with stage 3 endo. Always trust your instincts, if you feel like there is something there, get a second opinion.
Hope you get it sorted! x
Hi hun.
I'm not sure how anyone can say it doesn't feel like endometriosis, what are your symptoms hun?
The only way to get a diagnosis is to have a laparoscopy?
The only thing I'm aware that they may feel is you Adenomyosis which gives you a enlarge and inflamed womb but it's different to Endometriosis x
My symptoms are
Swelling of the belly after eating
Bad period painswith long periods and heavy clotting
Pain during and after sex
Pain going up my bum!
Bad back when in period
Been with many fella for over a year now and we haven't been on any contraception and I haven't fallen pregnant at all.. I know something isnt right and the gyne just told me to go on depo injection but that's just masking the pain.. I don't want it masked I want it sorted x
Your symptoms sound like mine they have tried to get me on pill I have tried multiple and none agree with I get reqlly bad migraines and other side effects and I have had 2 coils and they caused me nothing but trouble.
So fed up with it just want this pain to go away x
Hi there then only way to tell if u have endo Definatley is a lap, I'd push for a second opinion, so silly to say she can't feel it, with regards to shoulder pain, I was taken to hospital with suspected eptopic pregnancy, this was before I was diagnosed, and after I was diagnosed my gyne said that sometimes the endo bleeds into the abdomen especially during your period and therefore causes symptoms like shoulder pain associated with eptopic pregnancy when infact endo can be the cause, hope you get an answer soon x
