Hi
I have weekly sessions since last summer because I was in so much pain.I started before my first lap and whilst the pain hasn't completely gone away I do believe it helps. It was also really interesting that all the areas where I had endometriosis where very tender on the reflexology points!
Well worth giving it a go

thank you for the advice, I will definitely give it a go.
have you ever had a larascopy? if so how was it?
thanks, as just so nice to talk to other women who are going through the same stuff.

Hi
I have tried both reflexology and reiki and I felt both helped. In fact I actually trained in reiki and use it when the endometriosis flares up. I'm going for reflexology hopefully next week!! I think I'm just gonna try anything and everything and see if it helps.
I would recommend it but drink lots of water afterwards I had an awful migraine.

thank you very much for your advice, I am still thinking about going back to the docs to be referred to gyno for larascopy, as the inflammation has been bad along with i.b.s. I was due to go a month ago but cancelled due to flu, never rebooked as I was just to scared.
but will try the reflexology aswell.

Mine was just over a month ago! I was terrified too, it's the first thing I've ever had done. It was painfull for me afterwards but I'm a huge baby, I just used lots of pillows a hit water bottle and all the drugs I was allowed to take!
It's better now for me though knowing I do have it, I can try an control it as much as possible hence the holistic therapy!
Good luck with it all though, and go back if it's getting you down.

I'm also in the middle of trying reflexology. I've had about 6 sessions now. It kind of weirded me out to start with as the points that hurt on my feet relate to what's hurting in my body. I am not sure whether it is helping yet but only time will tell. I got to the point that I would give anything a go to try and relieve the pain. X
Yes, many years ago; it did help me relax more but didn't tackle the pain itself if that makes sense. Overall, however, I would recommend if you can afford it.
