Hi I'm onto my third injection of zoladex and suffering with severe headaches. Did anybody else suffer with headaches and do they ease off or is it just another thing to put up with?

The first time I had zoladex, I had every side effect going; hot flushes, night sweats, aching joints, fatigue, and headaches and blurred vision. I of course came off it because of these side effects.

However, following my 3rd laparoscopy which was only a couple of months later, I was put back on zoladex. This time tho I was put on tibolone, a hormone replacement tablet, to help ease the symptoms. I found this did help the side effects.

It may be worth seeing your gp and asking if you can have something for the side effects. Tibolone can't be given straight away, but after about 3 months of zoladex it's supposed to be ok.

I hope this helps, and good luck X

Endometriosis and severe heavy periods. The hospital told me to be on for 4 months then if pain and bleeding eases hysterectomy.
