Hi I had a laparoscopy last week to remove a fibroid (or so I thought) it turned out to be endometriosis and I had to have my left overs and Fallopian tube removed! This has come as such a shock as I'm 50 and never knew I had anything wrong! I've always had heavy painful periods but thought that was normal. I'm feeling a bit worried now about it being anywhere else? How can you find out?

Hi, thankfully you haven't suffered too badly with symptoms over the years, it's quite amazing isn't it, how we all take on the des ease in different ways,
Hopefully, your surgeon was experienced enough and has excised all endo found,
Good luck xxx
