I feel so crap! I have just had a hideous weekend, pretty pointless really as I was in too much pain to do anything. My GP has just put me back on the pill saying I just have painful ovulation/periods. It is not normal to be in as much pain as I am in naturally I know its not, feel so let down by the system. :(

i know the feeling katie1006 it took me years and many hospital admissions for them to listen to me. all blood tests etc came back normal and scans only showed a few cysts which is normal. i would say keep persevering and ask for a second opinion x

Sorry to hear your gp is yet another gp who fobs you off probably due to a lack of knowledge about endo. This happened to me for years! My advice, go see another gp and arm yourself with endo facts,as tboag suggested. Or if you can afford to, you can arrange a private consultation with endo specialist without gp referral. All the best xx oh and you really do have to demand your gp refers you,it's a fight but keep going back til they do something xx

Hi Lindle, my consultant told me that if you call an endo center you can make an appointment for consultation without gp referral but you do have to pay for the consultation. I didn't realise til he told me. I was referred by my new gp x

My old gp said it was all in my head and I had IBS for years! It's awful how so many gps are so dismissive and have no idea about endo! x
