Hi, everything you have written sounds so much like i could have written it! Although you are younger and have 3 boys, i just have one, he is 6. I finally have lap on tuesday and although its good news to be finally hopefully finding out i am so anxious, i have found that since all this started about 5 1/2 yrs ago gradually i have got more and emotional, anxious etc, sometimes irrationally worried about little things! The period problems and ovulation pain hang around after so that theres not many good days left in between anymore. I also so much want to find some work etc so am hoping this will help enough that i can start to job hunt, as boredom and not feeling great are bad for each other as they both seem to make the other symptom worse. Will update you how the lap goes, keep your chin up, happy to chat whenever you want to,

Lol think the consultant would have a shock too!:-) is this your first larparoscopy? I've had a couple and waiting for major surgery. The waiting is just awful! Is someone going with you? Xx

Yes that would give them something to talk about in staffroom! My first lap, partner only allowed to drop me off they said as its a day surgery ward, had scans, numerous blood tests etc over last few years all normal, started as odd pain here and there gradually over yrs has increased, terrible back pain, heavy aching pelvis, ibs symptoms joined in, several docs convinced its endo finally its time to find out. Hoping tues goes quick. xx

You'll be fine hun. Make sure you take the following with you.....slippers,dressing gown lightweight as it's hot in hospital. Your own sanitary pads hospital ones are from the stone age! Get some windeze as it helps disperse the gas they pump you full of. Throat sweets afterwards because of tubes down your throat, felt like I'd swallowed razor blades! Pillow for car to put between you and seat belt. Get in girlie flicks and mags and eat light meals for a few days. Rest up you'll feel sore and really tired xx

Hi Victoria, had lap today, long old day, finally home about7:30 tonight. They found adhesions and fibroid, no endo! Removed adhesions which was abdominal wall and bowel so fingers crossed that will improve ibs symptoms at least, so guess all pretty good news really, thought i'd be starving by now, was before surgery but not all that bothered now, i'm sure i will be tomorrow,

take care

Hi Victoria, am feeling ok really thanks, bit squeamish about the belly button wound!!! Its ok just very tender and i'm not a fan of anything on belly button normally anyway, the other is a tiny one further down and not a big deal at all. Feel more like myself now so its time to wear a bit of makeup today so a bit less troll-like lol. Hope you get some answers soon too, amazing how common these symptoms are, there were 5 women in total on tues, 3 all having lap to look for suspected endo or adhesions. Guess symptoms must be so similiar for both conditions. So wishing you well and let me know if you get some news,

take care
