Hi everyone, so last month I was on here and in a very dark place. You all were so amazingly supportive and made me feel loads better.
I was due to start ivf this month after 2.5 years of infertility and 3 early miscarriages (implantation failure). I'd just found out that I had adenomyosis too which was so depressing.
So...just a little update about my emotional roller coaster! I am pregnant naturally and my test line was stronger than ever before. I have pregnancy symptoms galore and I know it's early days but maybe there is a chance this could finally work out! I hope it offers hope to others too

Many congratulations!!! Keeping everything crossed for you. I just read your last post as I am new to this (only diagnosed last Friday after years of problems). I am so lucky in that I am nearly 40 and I have three children. Interestingly you had an awful last period? I had horrendous periods when I then conceived babies one and two. My GP told me that it often happens that way, you have a good 'clear out' and your body is then ready to look after a foetus.

Very interesting! Didn't really think of that! I had a endometrial scratch biopsy in December which is meant to help implantation. I'm wondering if that made my period awful but like you say rejuvenated my lining! Thanks for your kind words! X
Thank you all for your lovely wishes! Just goes to show when your in the darkest of places there might alway be a light. Hopefully my roller coaster will slow down now for the next 8 months!

I have my TPE surgery & hysterectomy (Mr T thinks I have adenomyosis too unfortunately) scheduled for March now. It sounds like you've been through so much but have come out the other end now. It's reassuring to hear success stories.

Hi - congrats, thats wonderful news. Just a bit of advice. You may want to ask your doctor about having added progesterone in the first 3 months, some women with endo tend to have lower progesterone which can cause recurrent miscarriage.
I'm on it til 12 weeks after IVF pregnancy - it really is worth checking out. I always had low progesterone, and hope its supporting the pregnancy. There was also an article about this in the Daily Mail during last week. Perhaps this wasnt the cause of the miscarriages for you but I just thought id mention it, because id want to know if it was me.

To all - thank you again for your kind comments. I think sometimes hopeful stories get lost on the internet, because it is a place we turn to in a time of need. I don't blame anyone for getting carried away with the happiness of health, healing or positive turns and forgetting to update...but I'm sure there are many more positive stories out there and it is worth holding that in mind when reading about the difficulties we all go through.
On another note My clearblue digital said 2-3 weeks yesterday waheeeey! I'm progressing!!!
