Hi there, I find that my endo zaps all my energy too. I am lucky in that my endo symptoms are only just before during and after my period but I find after a day at work all I have energy for is sitting on the sofa with a hot water bottle. I am normally energetic, walk my dogs go to the gym 3 times a week but around my endo times I am more like a zombie. The only thing I have found to help is to give in and rest, lots of snuggles on the sofa with a hot water bottle, long hot baths and early nights with a book in bed. It goes against the grain for me but I am trying to learn to listen to my body more x

It's so hard because part of me always thinks I'm not letting this beat me I will carry on with gym etc but I end up feeling worse for it. I have a caffiene intolerance so I can't even drink coffee all day to wake me up! Hope you find something that helps you x

I have used iron supplements (spa tone) sachets, you can get them in boots. They really helped to boost my energy levels along with a good multi vitamin! I also think exercise helps my energy levels even though I don't feel like going! I also go to bed at 9pm on days when I'm exhausted!

I agree with what someone else said above - sometimes you have to just listen to your body and have a relaxing duvet day. I find it hard to be as active as I want to and need at least one day of not really doing a lot at the weekend! Hope you're feeling more energy again soon

Hi I'm the same but mine is constant it's like I can't cope with life, everything I do drains me. The pain isn't too bad now the gp has put me on the pill but I get it when I'm at work as I'm busy. I was told yesterday to try metatone which I brought going to start it today & hope I get through work without wanting to curl up in a ball

I agree that you have to listen to your body. For years I've tried to keep going at a fast pace and make myself even more ill. There's been times when I have dared to go out at the weekend on Friday and Saturday then ended up drained for two weeks. It's a sad realisation but rest and vitamins is the only solution I've found works x x

It's bloody horrible isn't it? I feel very lucky as the intense fatigue now seems to have passed. I had over a year where for 2 weeks each month I was utterly drained. I had to take time off for the agonising pain and then when that had passed I'd be phoning work to say I had intense fatigue and all I could do was sleep. If you haven't experienced it, it's very hard to understand I know. I think they basically thought I was a bit tired or lazy. Grr. I was so exhausted I couldn't even get dressed :(

Right, here's what I found useful. Nature's Plus high potency chewable iron with vitamin c and herbs. You can find it online. Not only did it help with the fatigue, my periods became a hell of a lot lighter. Berocca and other b vitamins helped a bit. If I made it to work I'd still be knocking back 4 or 5 coffees to keep awake tho. In a way it's good you can't have caffeine as it increases the Endo cramps and at the end of the day it helps keep you awake for a few hours but has no long term benefit. Other than that - sleep. I resigned myself to the fact that I'd just have to rest one or two days. Get as cosy as possible and just sleep. It's very frustrating as I'd wake after sleeping all day and still have fatigue but I think it helps it pass quicker and at least gives your immune system time to power up.

Good luck! Xx

The joy of Endo :( I've had it 20 years and it still likes to surprise me with new symptoms that floor me. Also worth trying Dead Sea salt baths with a few drops of orange or lime essential oil. Relaxing but also uplifting.
