Does anyone else suffer from recurring thrush symptoms with endometriosis? I have endometriosis and I keep getting thrush symptoms all the time together with heavy bowel feeling. IT feels like up my vagina it is burning. It is very uncomfortable and once the pain comes too, it is so miserable.

Hi. I was having terrible thrush symptoms but no discharge. Had swabs taken twice but came back clear. I started to get dry patches on my eye lids & was prescribed some cream which I started using downstairs it helped enormously. I now use doublebase shower cream & I no longer have symptoms apart from maybe after a period x

Hi, I have exactly the same thrush symptoms had swabs taken and come back all clear I've noticed the itching comes when I'm ovulating and on my period then it will go away for a week or two then start up again and I'm having investigations at the hospital about the heavy pressure feeling down there too but getting no where fast with gyne, was seeing one consultant but she wants a second opinion off another consultant to see about having a hysterectomy.

I used to have this problem for years. So many things would set it off and would almost always end a period with it. I’ve done a few things to stop it and haven’t really been troubled with it for some time now. Firstly I use a daily wash called Lactacyd Femina not soap to wash. It’s supposed to be a rebalancing wash that isn’t harsh like soap. Also I found using tampons or towels set it off and I started using a moon cup instead. Not sure if you’ve heard of this but google it and you will see what it is. It’s not for everyone but I found it so much better than other options that can be drying and irritating. Also I read that avoiding too much sugar, citrus fruit and fruit juice is advisable, can’t remember why but it does seem to help.

Lastly if you have a troublesome outbreak that won’t clear up try dipping a tampon in natural live yoghurt and popping that in. A bit messy and you can’t really do much whilst doing this so just lie on the bed on a towel for a while but the outcome is worth the inconvenience.

Hope some of this helps xx
