Pain after hysterectomy: Hi all after... - Endometriosis UK
Pain after hysterectomy
have a read of the following article - and also the comments underneath it from one of the countries top endo surgeons as he explains more about it.

It isn't unusual- but with the right help it should be possible to feel a lot better.
Hi thumper20,
You are not alone. I had my hysterectomy at age 39, I am now 50 and the pain has returned. They have sent me on numerous scans found bilateral ovarian cysts but one has burst since. I am exhausted and stay in most of the time. Some days I don't even have the energy to shower.Nothing in my blood tests to indicate an issue either. A physiotherapist diagnosed me with SI jointSO dysfunction but the test to confirm of corticosteroid injection via floroscopy was unsuccessful. I have bulginging discs with some nerve root touching but that too doesn't explain the pain more to the right. I'be started eliminating known foods to avoid for endometriosis and have less inflammation already after just a couple of weeks.Been turned down for diagnostic lap by one specialist and just waiting on hearing from a different one. I refuse to be a guinea pig for their benefit when it comes to their suggestions of GNRH drugs or the like.
It's nice to see I'm not the only veteran on here haha.
Hope you get alot of feedback, I'll be watching, take care xx
