Advice needed

I've been bleeding on and off for nearly a week now and its starting to worry me as I'm not meant to bleed on the pill that I'm on. Has anyone got any suggestions or does anyone know if this is normal?

Hello, I have also been bleeding for three weeks straight with period pains every single day. Sorry for the gory detail but my blood is black and thick with lumps and I have been very heavy. This is also happening to me whilst taking a pill called 'Qlaira' prescribed to me by my doctor. I am in the same boat as you Hun

It's terrible isn't it? I'm just abit worried as I'm not meant to be bleeding..

Hi ireland_2014,

I have had frequent spotting/bleeding with various pills too. It is horrible...not to mention from a financial aspect - expensive!!! Another thing that interferes with my long-term relationship (I have frequent pain during and after intercourse).

If you are very worried about it and it's getting you down, speak to your GP who will be able to reassure you and rule out any infection/malignancy, although both are highly unlikely.
