I am the same, but I have gone for patches it will depend on your age age and health , I have DVT in the family, so have gone for a low dose combined patch as I'm only 40 , this is what my gyne said was best.Hope this helps

Hi i tried a number of the tablets and they didn't work

For me but i seem to be getting along well with the gel

It was a long process getting it right as i had my total hysterectomy in September 2012, i am now 46. I have also just had another laporoscapy to remove more endo. Good luck xx

Hi Elaine, yes it came back or was left behind i wasn't right after hysterectomy. I had it removed from left and right pelvis area in December and was told it was very sticky inside, i know when had hysterectomy tubes and overies were stuck solid to pelvis. I Dont go back to consultant until august as the ward forgot to add me to the list for 6 month appontment so wont know more until then x

So even tho you had hysterectomy it still came back ..they told me that if i didnt have hrt 4 6 months it would die and wouldnt come back ..so i may have gone 6 month for nothing if it comes back ...and more surgery and more pain so wot was the point in a way x

Hi it seems like it does but since i have had this last laporoscapy and got my hrt sorted i haven't felt better. I suffered for about 20 years and for the first time in my life i feel i am in control. I like the gel as i get more control of dose when i think i need more or less. All in all the hysterectomy was the best decision i ever made. Dont lose heart it is worth it. X

Yes works wonders with the hot flushes, i dont get any at all. I didn't get any night sweats before so can't help on that one. It helps the mood swings i am not laughing one minute and crying the next but that had a lot to do with the surgery and the feeling of inadequecy as a women more than anything else. It is called oestrodose xx
