Any ladies on here with scar endometriosis caused by a c section?

Just been diagnosed after suffering with a painful lump just above my c section scar. The lump is so painful the first half of my cycle and then feels better after ovulation.

oh no, that sounds awful. I haven't had a c-section but have had two laparotomies with the incision in the same area as a c-section. Something else to look forward to :/

have you been diagnosed via laparoscopy or is your doctor just quite sure it's endometriosis? I don't know what else it could be if it's linked to your cycle like that.

Hi! I had a scan with a consultant and it showed a 1cm mass in the abdominal wall. When I told how the lump changed with my cycle she straight away said it was due to my c section! Never had endometriosis before. I guess when taking my daughter out some 'tissue' got trapped and stitched up! I only noticed the lump a year later (very tiny) and then it seemed to get worse /grow each month. Was really bad this month, so hopefully will get it sorted ASAP! X

Hi

I have endometrosis in my laparoscopy/c section scar. It's getting bigger. Did you get it sorted? My gp has put me on progesterone only pill. I'm waiting for a scan as I'm getting urinary frequency and wondering if I have another ovarian cyst. I'm wondering if it could be scar Endo putting pressure on bladder.
