HI everyone ! Im 23 years old and have a 2 year old son...i was recently diagnosed with endometriosis via a laproscopy in february the consultant said he removed extensive adhesions. Before this surgery my symptoms had only been paibful intercourse for 4 years and occassionaly abdominal pain...for 2 months after the operation i felt great then suddenly hit with severe abdominal and lower back pain...at the beginning of laat week i started bleeding extrenwly heavy i am not due a period and i take the pill constantly and have never had a breakthrough bleed....the pain is horrific it feels like im having contractions and im soaking through 2-3 nighttimenpads every hour this has been for over a week now and no ease i have lost so much blood i feel faint i attended a&e last night for fear.of miscarriage or ectopic but they rulee everything out and said its the endo and sent me home with memfeanic acid to deal with it....why is this happening so soon after the lap ? And is this what its going to be like ?? Is ther3 anyway to ease the bleeding ???

Sorry to hear you've been diagnosed with endometriosis and that you're struggling so much with pain and bleeding. Re your bleeding. Is there any way you can contact your surgeon/consultant to see what they think?

Hey, that sounds horrible, I'm sorry to hear that you have been in so much pain and the drs don't seem to be treating it very seriously. I think that's quite bad that they just sent you home. Are you booked in to see a gynaecologist in the near future? It might be worth going to your gp and letting them know what's going on so they are more aware that there is a problem. I hate how we seem to have to Pester the doctors so much before they do anything
