is it normal to have pelvic pressure and pain and pressure in the bottom after hysterectomy?

I had a hysterectomy with removal of everything barring the right ovary and am feeling a lot of pain and pressure in my pelvis which is causing agonising hip pain and am also experiencing a lot of pressure in my bottom as though I need to go to the toilet all the time yet I don't need to. I am just wondering if this is normal or if anyone else has experienced this?

just incase anyone goes on this I ended up in hosp that night in severe pain and got diagnosed with a vaginal cuff haematoma so if any one experiences this feeling and then gets severe pain I would get yourself to A&E and get a scan and get sorted because if the haematoma gets infected it can make you very ill.
