Zoladex making me thirsty

Has anyone else had extreme thirst from zoladex/gnrh?? I just can't stop drinking but nothing is getting rid of it

Me too- very dry throat, especially in the mornings. It has improved a bit but was awful during first month.

My throat isn't dry just my mouth. It's my 2nd week on treatment so guess I'll just have to put up with it. I can't tell you how much I've drank today and still so thirsty. Did you find anythin that helped hun? X

Sucking boiled sweets can help -but you must really keep up the hydration because once the hot flushing starts full on your body could be having sweating episodes several times an hour. Drink cold water (with ice) when ever you need it, You will find vagina dries out, skin dries out too, hair gets brittle and falls out etc . All are listed on the side effects list. Hand cream & skin moisturisers cand help with hands and feet - but won't last long on the places you sweat.

Ohh no more things to look forward too. Thanks hun I'll try the boiled sweets. Gonna nip to GP tomorrow for a check while I've felt so bad all week, doubt they will be able to do much but worth a try

Is this your first zoladex injection. I was very thirsty at first. I made sure I always took a drink to bed with me and drunk it when woke up and found I wasn't so thirsty in the mornings. I found symptoms / side effects for worse before they got better but was worth it for pain relief.
