I read online that somebody is going to be on Lorraine this morning talking about Endometriosis. I will watch and post again if it's on :-)

Ooh lovely I just switched it on. You are right, because Lorraine just said 'What do Emma Bunton, Dolly Parton and Anna Friel have in common?' It's endo, cos I read about them all having it before. Thanks again, good spot Cat...I'd have missed it as about to go and make another spelt pancake (which are really nice and taste same as wheat flour by the way, lol)..

Thanks again deary xx

Haha no probs. you won't hear my voice on tele today though! Lol. Good luck with the pancakes I cheated and bought ready made. Hehe.x

Carol Pearson is on. She is brilliant. Explained it soooo well.

Thanks for posting this, I've just watched it. Bravo itv, another good feature on living with endo, I thought they approached it really well and showed the effects on marriage etc as well.

Now 2 features on itv so why no feature on the BBC???!

Yes she was fab, she got in so much detail in a very small slot! Yeah not seen anything on BBC?! I'm kind if kicking myself now that I didn't say more when on the phone on this morning yesterday but I really struggled to hear them on the phone and when I was about to say something I thought I was talking over them so I stopped! Grrr so annoyed. Hopefully I will get another chance in the future.xx

I think you did fab yesterday, you raised the million dollar question and proved that currently there's no answer!

Exactly! And re BBC, I know they can create quality tv but recent few years I think it's creativity is suffering a lot. I always used to watch BBC News only, but last year or more, it just loops the same news all day. ITV aren't afraid to branch out more and go a bit more left field with things, which is needed. Channel 4 news only news worth watching these days.

I don't expect any coverage from the stuffed shirts at the BBC.

BUT, saying that, after I first got diagnosed I did email BBC Radio 4 Woman's Hour and they replied really quickly and were really keen to talk to me, BUT I got really I'll not long after my first surgery so was too ill to follow up with them.

Thanks Hayls I went with a question that I know so many ask on here. Fingers crossed I'm one of the lucky ones that conceive after my having such severe endo. He said 70% of mild to moderate sufferers get pregnant. No percentage for us severe sufferers though :-(

Let's all lobby The One Show! That would be the best show to appear on on BBC I think.

Write to them here ssl.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0... and encourage them to do a piece. Perhaps if they get plenty of requests they will realise it's a viable topic to cover.

Done it x

Loose women should cover it too. Also, Cherry Healy, that nice BBC 3 presenter who does lifestyle shows which capture a young audience (but I still watch her stuff). She has covered a lot of female issues and I think she could cover it well, she is smart and seems sensitive.
