I was diagnosed with endometriosis about 5 months ago, although I've had it for years.. I'm so so tired too though, always have been more tired than the next person if you get me!? Is fatigue related to endo!? Can a person with endo be more fatigued than someone without!?

Fatigue definitely comes with Endo,Im afraid. Our bodies are constantly having to cope with pain ,inflammation and often heavy bleeding,so it is not much wonder as we have chronic illness. One thing you should get checked out is if you could be anaemic -simple blood test as Gp,as heavy periods can cause this which will definitely make you very fatigued.Do let us know how you get on.

I don't have heavy periods, and have only had 1 period in the last almost 6 months. As my consultant told me to tri-cycle.

Suppose that rules out anaemia, but may be worth getting blood test just in case.I have ME/CFS also so dont really know which illness causes the fatigue.I take a lot of supplements,so may be worth trying a good multi vitamin and mineral, fish oils and kelp, all which will cover any deficiencies?

Hi there, Fatigue is a symtom of endometriosis sadly. I get very tired too and have to pace myself. Other women have spoken about how fatigued they get. Yoga and qi gong have helped me .

Take care ,

Hi

Well I am constantly tired. I have Adenomyosis along with endo and am currently having prostap injections and due a Hysterectomy with excision in 5 weeks time. Only today I was saying how fed up I am of people saying how tired I look! Am sure its a combination of the endo and drug related.

xx

I think mines a combination of endo, and pure exhaustion from working. &having 2 children (one of whom doesn't sleep properly yet!). Everyone keeps saying to me 'go to bed early one night' but I know one decent nights sleep is not gonna fix this!! Isn't there some sort of drugs you can get to make you less sleepy constantly!?

Good luck with the hysterectomy and excision! X

If you think about what we go through day in day out with constant pain, sometimes just trying to hold ourselves up right is a chore, no wonder our bodies are exhausted! I would say coping with pain is the main factor of our fatigue, it drains us physically and emotionally xx
