How long did it take to recover from your lap?

Had a cyst removed and endo treated 3 days ago, feeling pretty rough and have a very sore and swollen abdomen!

Thankfully not due back to work until the new year but worried as many people seem to feel back to normal within days

Hi Georgie1981, I had a cyst and endo removed on the 31st of oct. it took me about 2 weeks to feel like wanting to start doing things. I gently eased myself back into work and the smallholding by 1 month I was doing everything I did pre op. My belly still swells up during the day so I hope this will pass soon. Don't push yourself and I hope you start to feel better soon. Cat x

Thanks for taking the time to reply and I'm glad you are feeling nearly back to normal. Im still feeling pretty uncomfortable today, the medication is blocking me up and I don't think that is helping with the sore stomach either . Hoping things will improve over the weekend.
