Hope this message finds you well. I've heard that the endo diet has helped a lot of females. I read the book but I was wondering on a normal day what you eat? And if you could give me some ideas of what I could have for dinner.
Thanks for ur time.

I have been on a wheat , gluten and dairy free diet for around a month now. I have cut out tea which I drank by the bucket full before. I have cut out red meat, fried foods and chocolate . I must admit I have found it quite hard, but have found the Will power to stick to it,as I really wanted to give it a good go to see if it Made any difference to my symptoms.
I have to say it has made some difference,as my symptoms are not as bad,and I am a lot less bloated since cutting out wheat!!!
I have been eating a lot of oily fish, chicken with salads, rice, vegetables and fruit. I have been drinking peppermint tea, lemon and ginger tea( ginger is a brilliant anti inflammatory ) and water. I have also been making fruit smoothies which are actually really nice !!
I also bought the endo recipe book and didn't really like the sound of most of the recipes so decided to do it my own way.
Just by cutting out these things above I can def see a difference and I have also dropped a few pounds .
I think any improvement in your diet even if it's only small, gradual Changes make a world of difference to how you feel .
I have been on a diet for three and half weeks due to needing to lose two stone for hysterectomy. I started cutting out carbs and making lots of homemade veg soup. Then did some research on endo diet. Its hard but trying yo stick to it. Ive cut out wheat/gluten and im definately less bloated. Ive cut out dairy, chocolate. On the two occasions i had dairy three hours later was on toilet so cutting out dairy definately helping. Ive cut out caffeine - as a pepsi max addict really hard drinking caffeine free pepsi max occasionslly and lots of green tea - gree tea with mango and pineapple my favourite. Green tea and mint is nice too. Trying to cut out red meat but struggling losing bacon. As to what i eat i have two pieces of fruit for breakfast a snack of carrot sticks cucumber and celery during the morn or protein. Most lunchtime and eve i have large bowl of homemade veg soup and add lean bacon orchicken to it. Sometimes i have chicken or fish with salad or veg but i find the soup fills me up more as dieting. Plan to incorporate almonds as a snack but not been shopping yet and brown rice occasionally too. Best news is ive lost 13lb in three weeks
I've managed to cut down my red meat in take. (Which was quite a big thing as I was easily eating it every dinner time.) but I think the hardest thing is bread and tea. I drink earl grey tea like it's going out of fashion. But I'm going to pick up some fruit tea and see if I can find a replacement for bread.
I don't eat a lot of dairy. (Only cheese now and again.) and I don't like chocolate so that's no problem. But I really don't need to loss weight. I'm only 5"3. And weigh about 7.6. So little worried the more I cut out the more weight I'll lose.
I've also cut of fizzy drinks and drinking more water. But like you say I'm going to try and eat more oily fish and chicken with veg or salad. And maybe try my hand at making my own soup. But unfortunately I'm an awful cook. So not too sure how well that will turn out.
Thank you so much for all your help I will defiantly be trying this.
I've been doing wheat free for about a month and I have definitely noticed a difference, I don't seem to get the sharp shooting pains I used to have. I'm hopeful that it won't come back but it has only been a month and I know you really need to do these things for about 3 months to know if it's properly worked. I have been struggling as well to find things to eat as I am a massive bread and pasta fan. Tesco do a bread called Genius which is gluten free and tastes really good but it's about £3 for half a loaf, if definitely feels more filling than regular bread and I would recommend that. I have also been having wheat free gluten free porridge which you can get in the free from range in Sainsburys. Most of the supermarkets have a 'free from' range and like the others said the best thing is to have lots of fruit and vegetables with chicken. I have also been buying Quinoa (a nutty grain) to replace rice and it's quite nice or sometimes I have it with salad to bulk up my salad. You need to be careful of salad dressings as well but I've been using roasted sesame oil with a squeeze of lime and it's lovely. You can buy gluten free pasta and soups, they do charge a little bit more and one good shop I've been going to is Planet Organic as even the price tags are colour coded so you know what is wheat free. Good luck.
Turkey burgers ! They are delicious, make your own salsa and / or hummus to go with them and seve with roasted veg or corn on the cob. That's my go to comfort meal.
Popcorn cooked in coconut oil is a great snack.
Chicken casserole, soups and roasted veg with fish are all very filling
I found the endo recipe book useful bit I wouldn't really cook much from it. I'd love to hear anyone else's recipes x
Hi, I have cut out wheat, gluten and dairy, for breakfast I eat cereal and green tea, for lunch I eat homemade soup, for dinner I eat homemade soup or sometimes rice with fish or chicken or just salads. I try to stick to liquids throughout the day, as I find I'm less bloated. I bought a juicer so I'm juicing most of my veggies and make smoothies it fills me up. I don't eat much red meat, I only started this 2 weeks ago, it has been hard, especially hard while my kids and hubby are eating normal foods. but I'm getting used to it.
