I have endometriosis and my partner and I have been trying for a baby for a year now. We have an appointment with our doctor who said they will take bloods from me and refer us to a fertility clinic. Can anyone tell me what to expect? I have been using an ovulation monitor for a year now so I know I am ovulating.

What to expect from an appointment at a fertility clinic
Hi Breaks84. I am in the same boat as you right now. i was also reffered to an infertility clinic and was told i was ovulating. i then had 2 blood tests and was referred to have a laproscamy which is booked in for the 2nd september. it took me around 2 months to get to the op stage from first being reffered which was pretty quick. I am so nervous about my op but i just have to have it done as i am in constant pain. i have 2 blood cysts 6cm and 5 cm. i Hope everything goes well for you. x
Hi I was refered to fertility specialist at hospital who will refer us to clinic of our choice if we decide to try ivf as that's our only option. Our first appointment we talked about medical history and planned blood tests and hubby has to do sample. I had a lap and my tubes tested with dye at the same time so knew they're blocked and now have op planned to remove them. So if you haven't had tubes tested they may want to book you in for that and they should give you a good idea as to what your options are. I was told if all tests come back ok and tubes removed the endo in ovaries shouldnt cause any issues with egg collection so would expect about 40% success ! So lots of tests and op first but they're doing all initial test so we will know what will be possible next! Good luck with your appointment and hope you get some positive news x
I asked the same question a week or so ago and got some helpful info here healthunlocked.com/endometr...
