First laparoscopy- found one 5cm cyst in left ovary and one 2cm on bowel

So I had my first lap and they didn't remove the cysts as they werent sure where the small one on the bowel had attached to. They are referring me for a MRI to check if it is attached elsewhere before trying to operate again. Bit dissapointed but I suppose at least they are being careful. Has anyone else had this experience?

Hi there, Yes my first lap the endo was too extensive for my hospital to deal with, everything stuck together and a cyst on my left ovary. I was then referred to another hospital, 2 hours away from where I live, and I had to go for an MRI, scans, to see the bowel surgeon and then back for a camera to see if I had endo in my bowel. I was disappointed at first but once I thought about it and got all my results I felt much happier when I went in for my lap in June. Take care X.

Thanks for your reply. I think they are more bothered about the small cyst so they want a bowel

Expert at my next lap. Hopefully I won't have to wait too long.
