what do you use as a contraception ? Has anyone used the implant ?

I am not very good with hormones bleeding , migraines , sickness , mood swings and terrible depression feeling after injection .

I had the implanon implant and it was really good for me, didnt cause any random bleedings, headaches etc - but I had a scan a couple of months after having it out and I had several cysts which have been blamed on the implant as there is an increased chance of cysts from the implant but its quite low odds, and not endo type cysts. I can't have the pill (single or combined) and now cant have the implant either, I shouldnt be too fussed as really want a baby but I'm on prostap injections at the mo so very much stuck with condoms for the time being. Hope you find something that suits you. x

I have one cyst on left ovary and start of a nodule on the other side.

I can't take hormonal medication because I'm hypermobile so I just use condoms x

I tried the implant it was awful I was so ill, I bled even more and every day for months all they would do is give me the pill to stop it and transamic acid (not sure ive spelt that right) tablets that I googled myself as I was desperate. Finally had it taken out continued to bleed for months that's when I finally got a laparoscopy and diagnosed with endo! I now have mirena coil and although it took months to settle down it is fantastic for me.
