Yes, but I find it a bit of a fiddle getting it stuck on. I use mine for back pain and put it on my tummy for the pelvic pain, it does really work x

Yes! It's my best investment! It takes a while to get used to so don't give up at first. Because everything is sensitive in pelvis at first i felt it was a bit much, but I started on a low frequency and built up.

My boyfriend researched it a lot for me and he said difference between low and high price ones is how smooth the delievry of the waves are.

Also i really recommend having a 4 paddle one if you get back pain too, then you can have front and back on at same time, thats when I find most relief.

It really cut down how many meds I was on which I loved.

Be careful though as when I was in severe pain I would leave it on for the day and night and it burnt mu skin. Its fine to use it that much but just have to move sites around a bitxxx

Thank you Lilli, so sorry you have pain enough to need one, but glad you get some relief and are able to lessen your amount of meds, that's my plan as I take a cocktail of 19 pills + morphine 2 hourly when required, I hate it and hate how they make me feel (I am almost bedridden and haven't been out socially or driven my car for almost 7 months). My pain is my lower back (sacrum area) so the 4 paddle one sounds good, I get deep hip bone pain also, do you think it would be easy to place 2 paddles there?

I do hope you are not suffering too much today, many thanks. x

Hi I get pain in the sacrum area too and deep in my hips, down my legs also. The leaflet that came with my tens shows places to put them for pain all over your body, even for headaches. I have tried them on my hips, but you had to keep still all the time whereas on my back and pelvis i was able to move more freely for first time in ages.

I know how hard it is. I have just returned to work after 5 months off, was also taking up to 18 different med types a day.

Have you been referred to a pain clinic? You may find a lot of your symptoms aren't being helped by the meds and you are suffering side effects from addiction which could happen easily taking the morphine 2 hourly.

Have the drs tried you on something for nerve pain like gabapentin or amytriptilin instead?

I also have just completed a expert patient programme, self management for long term health conditions course its free online look up eppic.

I was bed bound, so low and felt like endo had consumed my life and by the end of it here I am back at work.

Don't get me wrong Im not the old me and I still get down and fed up and overwhelmed easily by endo but Im starting to learn ways to manage it.

Also wheat and gluten free for 2 months and it has really helped. I never believed in that stuff!

It may seem there's no where to go right now but don't give up, there's plenty to change to make things better for you.

Big hugsxxx

That's great that you are back at work and at least resembling the girl you were before. Take it easy though.

Yes, the Pain Clinic have been very helpful, with further investigations to confirm my back is in good order, and they are trying to juggle my meds to get me off the Morphine in the long run. I have tried Gabapentin and Pregabalin, but they both gave me horrendous side effects even on a low dose. A friend came round and said I looked like I had Parkinson's or something, I was jerking and shaking, was so wired my eyes were on stalks, yet I couldn't sleep. Amitryptylene didn't suit me either and was replaced with Tramadol. Will be starting GNRH injections with add back HRT soon to see if back pain goes, confirming it is Endo related, so they don't want to mess with my meds anymore at the mo, but they are a great support and I am able to phone the CNS anytime. She was the first one who really listened to me about my lower back pain.

I couldn't find anything about EPPIC only for Teenagers with psycotic issues..

So glad to hear that you have gone from also bed bound to being back at work, it's a great step because otherwise it is all consuming, it's the last thing I think about at night, the first thing on my mind in the morning, the constant pain of it, and, I have nothing else to talk about! So very sad it can have such an effect.

Thank you for your encouragement, it means a lot to hear positive news from a fellow sufferer and I do hope you continue to move onwards and upwards despite the nasty little buggar Endo is. WEll done you. But take it easy at work. Much love. xxx

Hello,

I am interested in a TENS machine! It does work for the pain? I am the same that I hate taking the tablets. I nearly fainted at work because of my tummy pain two days running last week.

I am so new to this machine. I am going to Google it now but could someone recommend a particular model, please?

Thanks
