From what I have read it may be some time yet before full human trials. I hope we survive to see this happen as it will be a real game changer and open up transplant to everyone young and old.

Trials are supposed to start this year. Supposed to hit market in 2020. Praying it does!

I have read about it and hope it gets approved. Stem cell work is also underway

Would be nice. But from I’ve read they still can’t figure out how to artificially filter blood without it clotting. I’d say a viable artificial kidney is definitely in the future. I just doubt it will benefit any of us. Maybe our kids.
