Kidney disease solution?

Hello there, I have been reading about a programme called Kidney disease solution by Duncan Cappicciano, and wondering if anyone here has tried it.....does it work? Have you had any positive results? It sounds too good to be true!

I am slightly familiar with this, but not enough to know the full scope. However, any program that is a One size fits all should be avoided. There are many types and stages of kidney disease and they need to be dealt with as such. If you are interested in a more holistic approach, I would advise working individually with a licensed naturopath in conjunction with your nephrologist. I am currently working with a holistic kidney doctor who has set up a plan of supplements and diet for my specific stage and type of kidney disease. I've reviewed it with my mainstream nephrologist and we are all in agreement.

Plus, be cautious of any program that claims a cure and cross check any supplements with your doctor before taking anything. They can do more damage than good if used incorrectly. This is coming from someone who is a firm believer in holistic medicine if used appropriately in conjunction with traditional medicine.

Very good post Zazzel. Agree, one regimen may not work for others. Much enters into it. I will stick to the prescribed diet and regimen by my Primary Doctor, which is working.

Do not waste your money. The book is only about general health.

I have been using that program for 2 years now. I was stage 5 when I started it. Still stage 5 but have maintained my GFR. I seem to feel better than a lot of people I read about on here. It actually lists different kidney diseases and symptoms and what to take. Hope this helps!

Thanks for your reply Bunkin, I was hoping to get a response from someone using it. I can understand that some people are skeptical as I would be, but anything that helps surely has to be looked at. To dismiss stuff out of hand without examining it in detail is somehow not right. Thanks again and good luck 😊

I tend to think outside the box. I'm always looking for different ways to maintain my GFR for as long as I can. I know from experience that most doctors are going to do only so much. The protocol. I believe there has to be a better way. You're in my prayers! God can do anything!

Took a quick look at the site.

Seems for 50 quid you can buy basic lifestyle and nutritional information that is 90% common sense and info any good doctor will give you, particularly in earlier stages of many kidney failures.

Not what you're looking for?
