Mupirocin

Is anyone familiar with this ? I've had a mole removed on my lower arm. Even tho ive tried to be very careful and used neosporin and kept the area covered the removal area has become infected.

I told the nurse that i have 3rd stage kidney disease and she appeared to have entered it in my record. The doc prescribed Mupirocin which carries a warning about not using with kidney disease.

I decided to call the kidney doc but probably wont hear back until late tomorrow after ive used it several times but wonder what risk i might be taking.

Hi, I know many prescription drugs as well as over the counter can be hard on the kidneys. Maybe a topical triple antibiotic would be better. When I had a very painful kidney stone, the only thing I could take was Tylenol.
