Mupirocin

He gave me antibiotics and mupirocin 2% ointment. He advised me to apply that ointment in circumcised wound and clean it with soap everyday. The problem is circumcised wound is coated with thick yellowish layer and I can't remove it while cleaning it is much thicker.

Apply Mupirocin (if desired) to the skin at the base of the tube where it comes through the skin. Fold fourth 2x2 gauze in half and make a "pillow" to position under the tube adjacent to where it comes out of the skin.

Went back to the hospital and they suggested that its likely not infected since I am on a course of antibiotics which I've almost finished aswell as using mupirocin cream twice daily as instructed by my surgeon.

Later i consulted a doctor online and prescribed Augmentin Duo Amoxycillin (625mg tablet) and T bact Mupirocin Ointment. After taking the tablets, I didn't find any change in size but there was a change in colour. I have attached the pictures of initial and present stage.

I'm currently trying Mupirocin 2% ointment (antibiotic/antibacterial) after trying Clotrimazole (antifungal steroid), which did help but didn't cure it. My question is - should I completely abstain from sex and masturbation until this is resolved?

A week later no change and was finally given mupirocin cream and was told to see a urologist if it didnt help. Went to see a urologist and was told same its yeast and its not too bad. Stop using all creams and dont use soap and blow dry after shower.

I have been applying mupirocin which is an antibiotic ointment to the ring since the first day to prevent infections. Could anyone please let me know if I ought to be concerned? No more bleeding from the wound. Just the itch.

The doc prescribed Mupirocin which carries a warning about not using with kidney disease. I decided to call the kidney doc but probably wont hear back until late tomorrow after ive used it several times but wonder what risk i might be taking.
