I had a sudden drop in blood pressure today, resulting in nausea, vomitting, dizziness, weakness, bp dropped to 83/66. Should I report this to my dr. Or wait to see if it happens again. I do have ckd also.

For future reference, if that should ever happen again, I'd wait 10 minutes and re-take the BP. It's impossible to know if the low reading was a warning or a "bad reading." In any case, if it were me I'd bring it up to the doctor and also let them know what your next couple of readings were. Did you have any issues with the low reading like lightheadedness, dizziness, nausea, or a chilled feeling?
I was nauseous, dizzy, vomitted, sweaty, I took my bp during all this and it was 83/66. About an hour later it was 130/90. Should I let my nephrologist know happened, she is also treating me for high bp.
If it were me, I would definitely report that experience to your Dr, whether on BP medication or not, especially as we are not medics on here.
The dr. Has told me to cut one of my bp meds in half, and to take one in the morning and the other at night. To monitor my bp twice a day, call if top number goes below 110.
When I expressed a concern that my blood pressure was in the low 90s/over as low as 53, my nephrologist said not to worry unless I experienced dizziness. That being my guideline, I would say that yes, it is time to contact your doctor.
Sometimes it's not just the drugs that are doing this to you, but a combination with dehydration. I get dehydrated real easy and those are the same symptoms that I experience. Whatever the cause, it does need to be reported to your doctor. Take your BP religiously and see if things don't improve along with drinking plenty of fluids. Hope things improve !
