need help regarding on ckd 2-3
CKD can fluctuate, mine fluctuates at 38, 40, 44 ,46, [ these are UK reference numbers,] they also fluctuate if you have any infection, or other health issues.
are you talking about the createnine level sorry but i didnt get what you saying
Sorry about the confusion, The creatinine level can fluctuate with health problems, diet, exercise, medication, and even stress,
At my last blood test my creatinine was 108 [ the level should be between 44.0 and 97,0 ] so my creatinine is above range.
The levels may be differ in other country's.hope that helps
if u are more vigilant about your food , u can keep creatininine low.
do not eat red meat , high potasium foods, also high protein foods,
bell pepper , cinnamon, lime . tumeric, Anona, green apple , are good and if possible take them often,
go to the link"GFR Calculator – Glomerular Filtration Rate- Davita ' FIND OUT YOUR gfr , THAT IS GLOMERULAR FILTRATION RATE .
U DO NOT HAVE TO PANNIC , MY GFR IS ONLY 27 at the age 72 and also after 2 heart attacks.
be happy u can live with it , do not be greedy on bbq etc
hope u will write me bak
wish u good health
Your GFR (glomerular filtration rate) is determined based off of your creatinine blood level and your age. You are definitely in CKD Stage 3 because a creatinine of 1.80 means a GFR of around 44-49 which means you are straddling between Stage 3A to Stage 3B.
Have you sought medical attention about this?
no not yet my doctors appointment is at july but can it stay on that stage for a long time??
Anyone can stay in a particular stage for many years, while others progress to renal failure rather quickly. It really depends on the underlying cause of an individual's kidney disease. For me, my autoimmune system was attacking my kidneys to the point that I was nearing Stage 5 but since successfully suppressing immune activity, my kidneys have recovered from being inflamed and I gained enough functionality to be three points away from Stage 2. At this point I've stabilized at a GFR of 57 and creatinine of 1.36 (I'm an Af-Am so my GFR is slightly higher than non-AfAm's).
Meantime, some lifestyle changes will immensely help reduce strain on your weakening kidneys. I recommend a lower protein diet of 60g or less. Keep your salt intake low, and reduce your intake of high phosphorus foods. Make sure you're exercising moderately for 30 minutes at least 3 times a week, but avoid strenuous exercise which exacerbates creatinine levels. Don't smoke!!! Many of those toxins in the bloodstream end up having to be filtered by your kidneys. Avoid drinking since alcohol is dehydrating and damaged kidneys struggle to maintain fluid balances in the body.
wow thank that was immensly helpfull its a good thing yiu were able to control your autoimmune i heard a movie about it thank you si much 😁
