hi,

i am liza & 29 years old.in September my GFR was 31 but now it is 25.can you suggest me how to increase GFR?

I don't think there is much you can do apart from keep well hydrated & eat healthy keep a good healthy weight it depends also on whats caused your problems!

Eat more vegetables and less meat. Increased creatinine and low GFR go hand-in-hand; one issue generally won't be present without the other. Quit smoking. Try a low salt diet. Consume less potassium and phosphorus. Drink nettle leaf tea. Exercise regularly. Manage your weight.

hi liza duke there are a few ways you can help egfr cut out fatty food excess salt.hi protein food.have some exercise but dont go mad because high blood presure is a killer of kidney function..keep calm..i had kidney problems for 52 years and have recently had transplant which is fantastic god bless staff of guys hospital...need any more help .get in touch again chris
