Are you saying it improved from 36 to 54?

Yes. I am looking forward to seeing what my July reading will be.

That’s encouraging.

I have been watching my blood pressure, low protein, low sodium, lots of water. I walk 5 miles 3 times a week.

Have you changed anything about your diet or lifestyle.

Any advice would help.

I find it very difficult to believe that a properly diagnosed (other than an acute and rectified injury) gfr of 36 went all the way up to 54.

My eGFR went from 50.9 to 64 but is back to 54 over a 2+ year period. Everyone's situation can be different and many factors involved on test results, I was told by my Doctor. I track an average. eGFR is an estimate I understand.

Only once, it went from 54 to 61 but back down to 54 now. Having a blood test next week so hopefully it may have risen again. Wish I knew what I did for it to rise to 61 🤔 Drink lots of water!
