I went to my doctor on Tuesday and was diagnosed with FSGS2 and unfortunately there is no cure. They are starting me on a medicine with should help with the blood pressure and protienura. They will not do a biopsy because of the great risk. Medicine is my treatment for now.

Sorry to hear that. I am at 18% EGFR and they suspected that I had some sort of FSGS but could not confirm it with out a biopsy which the doctor (and me) did not want to have done due to higher risk of bleeding. Unlike you I am not on any medication. I hope they can get you levels stable. Best of luck.
Hi , I just commented on another of your posts. I won't repeat it all, except to say I was diagnosed with FSGS at 17, there is no cure unfortunately and sadly it often recurs in transplanted kidneys. Please message me if you want to ask any other questions- I'm more than happy to help if I can. x
