CKD level 4

I have just been diagnosed at this level. I have been told to stop taking the 2000 grams if metformin a day I am on. My last glucose reading was 50 for my diabetes. I have to have another kidney function blood test in a week's time and I am concerned about the control of my diabetes between now and then.

I am female aged 76 with controlled BP using Ramipril and felodipine as well as atenolol for arrhymi. Mu colosterol is controlled by Bezalip Mono tablets. I also take warfarin. I am woorried I might be on a downward slope as regards my kidneys. What can I do to stop it?
