Blood sugars - Prick testing or a sensor?

My blood sugar is high (high teens, twenties) and I tolerate drugs such as farxiga very badly so am discouraged from taking medication. My most recent hab1c (?) was 91 (July). Should I change from prick test to sensor? And, if so, which is the best available? And is it available on the NHS?
