Thursday Morning: DEXCOM

Well, since part of yesterday and during the night/early morning, there has been a lot of issues with the sensor that was suppose to be changed over this coming weekend. I removed that one earlier this morning and now I'm in the warmup period.

Every few hours there were alarms going off because the no readings alert kept going off. I had no data/readings yesterday evening before and after dinner on and off. The readings would come back, but not for long. It came back around 11:30 pm then went away again after having readings for 10 minutes! This wasn't good. Then, a few hours later (near 2 am), I was woken up, again and had no readings. Then, the readings did come back for a little while, then went away by 5:30 am. It came back by 6:30 am and then I had breakfast after that, but went away after eating this morning, so I had to replace it around 8:15 am. There should be readings after the warmup period is over. There is 1 hour and 1 minute remaining before I know if everything is working the correct way-- and if there will be any numbers/readings. Once I know there's anything showing on either the phone or the receiver, I will call for another free sensor to be sent to me.

With all the issues that started yesterday, I have a huge headache today. I'm going to try and get a nap in sometime today, if possible.

More to come soon. Stay safe, healthy and happy! :-)

Hey poor you Leah this sounds awful so you look after yourself and I hope you get to have a nap and feel better real soon. And I hope that this sensor is a good one.

You take care now. 😊

Thank you, Hidden ! :-) We'll see how it goes in another 40 minutes before the 2 hours are done. I'll let you and everyone else know what happens when I can. :-)

Oh dear, Leah. This new Dexcom is proving to be a pain in the neck. I bet you wished you could have your old one back.

Take care and stay safe xx.

Thank you! I have had a talk with a Rep. and they are going to send a free replacement, but, yes, I wish the upgrade was doing better. It is beginning to feel like there’s a 4-7 day usage instead of the 10 day promise.

The new sensor is okay for right now.

Dinner time here soon.😀👍🌈🥘
