Update/Crushed Box Pictures: DEXCOM

Hi everyone. Here’s my update dealing with the sensor from 7-22-2021. I plan to add a picture on the comments section from another angle for you all to see after this posting is posted. The pictures are of the latest free sensor that I got yesterday afternoon.

To start with, I had a lot of different types of alarms going off for different issues with the old sensor. This started yesterday afternoon/evening.

When I was sleeping last night/this morning, I had been woken up twice. The first time I was woken up by the alarm, it was before 1 am. The second time was at 5:35 am and I had to calibrate the system and have a mini snack. Unfortunately, I couldn’t go back to sleep. The alarms were sensor error, 55 urgent alert and signal loss. This wasn’t good at all for anyone.

When I was done with dinner tonight, I called the Tech. Support and requested to get a free replacement. Turns out, I will be given a couple to help with the crushed one that came yesterday. They are coming 3-7 business days from now.

I guess a crushed box can happen with any item/company but after all the issues you've had with DEXCOM, I guess this must feel like the last straw Leah.

Hi Sue,

I was told that I would be getting a couple of sensors, so we will have to see what happens when they get here. At least, the inner box for the sensor wasn’t damaged or the sensor itself, too in the crushed box!😀👍
