Toe ulcer

Has anyone had (or has ) ulcer on top of the toe? If so any cures to suggest? Thanks.

See you doctor or nurse as it could become infected. Though My brother in law had one and they said it was OK. He showed t to his daughter who is a nurse a few days later and she took him straight to A&E as it had become gangrenous. He later lost the toe and then part of his foot.

Hi foxglove, I used to spend 3 days a week IN the north sea. I really think it has done my feet the world of good, salt water ? Try steeping them in a dish of ?

Thanks, tried the salt water cure as first port of call but eventually had to call on the professionals as toe had got infected . return visit Wed. 10th Sept. to check progress!

Thanks for reply, finished the anti biotics (helped a bit) and the padding applied under toe to lift it away from shoe pressure has eased pain. OK not 100% "cured" but relief from pain good I've been fortunate never really to have had severe pain as I went through life,, but the "torture" from one small wound unbelievable. I'm a wimp and hope return visit to OP can reveal what caused and how not to let it happen again.
