Toe ulcer
See you doctor or nurse as it could become infected. Though My brother in law had one and they said it was OK. He showed t to his daughter who is a nurse a few days later and she took him straight to A&E as it had become gangrenous. He later lost the toe and then part of his foot.
Hi foxglove, I used to spend 3 days a week IN the north sea. I really think it has done my feet the world of good, salt water ? Try steeping them in a dish of ?
Thanks, tried the salt water cure as first port of call but eventually had to call on the professionals as toe had got infected . return visit Wed. 10th Sept. to check progress!
Really good luck foxglove. Keep taking the pills.
Thanks for reply, finished the anti biotics (helped a bit) and the padding applied under toe to lift it away from shoe pressure has eased pain. OK not 100% "cured" but relief from pain good I've been fortunate never really to have had severe pain as I went through life,, but the "torture" from one small wound unbelievable. I'm a wimp and hope return visit to OP can reveal what caused and how not to let it happen again.
