Here's a really interesting article about how obesity is rising in the US and yet diabetes is falling. I think that some of these aberrations are due to them making diagnosis more robust so people have been diagnosed who has slipped through the net. They use the haemoglobin A1C blood test for diagnosis.
Health officials are not jumping with joy because obesity is still on the rise so it is definitely a paradox.
This is very interesting and I'm wondering when it is possible to have the doctor's offices/pharmacies make the insulin themselves instead of the companies.

but what are the figures for type 1 diabetes when patients are totally insulin dependent which is an autoimmune and not lifestyle related medical disorder/condition?
