Hey everyone! I am about to turn 60, happily married and retired living the good life in Tennessee. There is not a better way to face the daily battle of chronic health conditions.

Congratulations, I hope you are enjoying your retirement. Do you live in or near the Tennessee mountains or countryside? Quality of life and fresh, open air are wonderful for the soul and good health.

We are in northeast TN, 25 minutes from anywhere lol all hills and mountains around us, love it. We have cow pasture on three sides of u, a creek, good neighbors, our own piece of heaven.  Not so good for the asthma but I wouldn't trade it for anywhere else. How about you? Where are you enjoying life?

It sounds lovely and idyllic. Even though I am a bit of a city boy, I do love being away from the hustle and bustle and enjoying the great outdoors. Yes, I imagine all that pollen can play havoc with asthma. Where I live is actually quite rural. It's a town called Bedhampton, which is just outside of Portsmouth on the south coast of England. I work in nearby Langstone Harbour on Hayling Island, which is right next to a beautiful nature reserve and the estuary, which goes out into the Solent and English Channel, so lots of wildlife and fresh air. I love it. bit.ly/1NZnFaJ There are some great pubs too :-)

It sounds lovely, the best of both worlds! Hope you are enjoying your day there. Here, it'll be in the 80s and I'll be in town running errands most of the day.

Yes, but not originally.  I was born in Ohio.
