Alcoholic cirrhosis

I am 39/f I have been drinking half a fifth of fireball a night for. Year and a half I’m terrified I have cirrhosis. 8 months ago had clear ultrasound and labs looked ok but I carried on daily drinking. Does anyone have cirrhosis after drinking for such a short period of time I read about it all the time and I’m so worried

Hello what strength is fireball you will find it more helpful on British liver trust lots of similar people on there with liver problems from.alcohol hope your ok all I know is the liver can heel if not too far gone mine did you need to see doctor for blood tests I had high count but was normal after stopped drinking for 3 month's

Oh heck so that's strong the liver can cope with 6 units in 24 hours chirrosis comes from the liver scarring due to not coping the cells don't renew and causes fatty liver if not billed in bud leads to chirosis please go on British liver trust post on there I'll have look at there comments to you 🤗

It’s actually lower than most hard liquor. Vodka is 80 proof

Go to the doc and get updated blood tests. You need professional advice about your liver. Each person has their own timeline how fast their organs become damaged from alcohol. Don’t put it off.
