Acetazolamide 250mg
It used to be
Diamox
, now just the generic one available. I am prescribed it as I cannot anymore tolerate glaucoma drops. I cannot find it in any local chemist, sent it to my online one but they have just come back saying unavailable and no delivery date.

Help please is it possible in a month for the angle to change from narrow to wide open angles? This just doesn’t make sense to me.
I was then taken off the
diamox
which I was taking 4 times a day, as he said this was too much (always makes you feel better….), I was then asked to just take only pilocarpine 3 times a day and cosopt twice a day and have a follow up in a week.

I have recently been prescribed the above medication to reduce my ocular pressure due to complications during cataract surgery. My muscles have ached so much that I am glad to say I will be taking my last tablet in an hour. It did say in the patient leaflet that this could happen but fortunately none

Prescribed Diamox, on pred, not feeling good
I took 2 x 250mg
Diamox
yesterday but am not feeling good this morning. Weak, wobbly, nauseous, headache and my tinnitus is really bad. I think I should stop this drug. Does anyone else have similar experience? I have my next pressure test on Friday by the way.

Cancelled surgery
I was on max drop (x3) and oral
diamox
, it having been a challenge to bring my pressures down. I recently had a severe reaction to one or more of the drops and then reacted to drops prescribed to treat the inflammation. As a consequence the drops were all stopped.

Trabeculectomy
I was given some extra drops (iopidine) and
Diamox
tablets to bring it down. My vision had changed prior to the first appointment and was not clear. Went back Wed 23rd and pressure had gone down but consultant has said that surgery is the best way to go to save what sight I have left.

Regarding medication
Hi I am just wondering if any one else takes the
diamox
medication to help control there ataxia? My sister has just started on it however she said it leaves a horrible burning taste when she drinks fizzy drinks. Is this normal and if so will it pass? Or is it a side effect of the medication?

Painful rise in eye pressure after Lucentis jab
Mum was given some paracetamol for the pain, a couple of
diamox
to reduce the pressure, an eye drop of lopidine and a very welcome cup of tea. I could not believe the transformation which took place in front of my eyes.
