Hi, Am on insulin for the past 6 months, due to my sugar falling was 300+ to 150+, I feel my sugar has stabilized.have taken the initiative.
Thanks Amiya for a prompt answer.I however forgot to mention that I suffered a heart attack recently and have been put on beta blockers and blood thinners, and hence am bit cautious about taking in allopatic medications.I am doing acupressure, and I have a suspicion that the acupressure is responsible for the improvement of my blood sugar and not insulin.I may be wrong however, please advice.
Hi Amiya,
I dont quite agree with you about the concept of acupressure, it has helped me tremendously, and many others I have known.I had a blockage in my lower ventricle on doing the 2 d test, it was then only 25%, now I feel it has improved as I can now climb stairs, we live on the 2nd. floor with no lift, and trudging up and down the stairs was a bit of a chore for me and used to leave me breathless, but after acupressure, which incidently i started 4 months ago, the issue seems to have been resolved, as I can almost run up and down the stairs several times a day with hardly any effort, medications too help but in my heart I know that the acupressure excersise s which i religiously do every morning before breakfast has helped me and pulled me out of this predicament.I have yet to do another 2 d test, but I am sure that when I do it, the results will show a vast improvement over the last one.
Hello Pramod,
Thanks for your reply.I am on a diet, but being non veg. its really difficult as I have to sustain myself on fish, fruits and vegetables.I would be really grateful if you could suggest a non veg meal taking in mind my sugar and heart issues.Have been advised by my doctor to keep my water intake to just 1 liter a day.Which is really hard as I used to drink at least 2 liters a day and more during the summer months.
Kindly advice me on the best course of nutrition and also excersise.
Hi,
It just that due to the blockage in my left lower ventricle and due to the fact I am on thinners and beta blockers he did not want the heart to go through pressure of pumping the blood giving additional strain to the heart.
If a specialist doctor has given you expert advise after conducting various tests, please abide by his advise .Whether it is insulin or tablets we do not have much choice.
Thanks Dr. Pramod Hiremath, I too am under the care of a renowned endocrinologist in Goa, and am following his directions to the letter.I however would like other opinions as well. This platform could well serve them.I recall my late departed father had very bad asthma from his youth and no amount of medications could cure him.Ultimately it was an ordinary man living in and around the forests of Mumbai that gave him a concoction and told my dad to have it in good faith and invoking the name of the Lord for a week, following which he never had any attack of asthma till the time of his death.I have faith in the medical profession, but at times the natural cures can be much more beneficial and curative.
