due to saturation of blood sugar your veins gets blocked and gives your body low blood supply, which results in poor sensation in your lower part of body. Due to such poor sensation patient mostly over look the wound sensation, imaging that the wound is not so serious as there is no severe pain. afterward it leads to gangrene which may further lead to removal of partial limb.

In a diabetic, blood supply in the end portions of the body through capillaries is affected.Foot injuries do not heal quickly in a diabetic due to this reason.WE put lot of pressure when we walk and that does not help in healing process. If not attended promptly, infections including gangrene may set in.

In addition to the above, foot being in contact or proximity to ground, entry of pathogens or harmful micro-particles through the injuries are more probable & hence the risk. Why don't you get your diabetes cured?

Diabetes is a fundamental disorder. It is comparable with low voltage in an electric circuit. In both cases all connected subsystems will under-perform and will fail in due course. Diab impairs the glucose (SUGAR) & oxygen supply to ALL CELLS of the patient. You cannot compensate the resultant weakness with liquor, food or medicines.

I was diabetic from 2006; but NOT diabetic from 2009. I studied Diabetes thoroughly, because it was to solve MY problem.

Do you want to see my experience and blood sugar history from 2006 to 2013? Those are reported at: appropedia.org/Diabetes_mel... If you want only MODUS OPERANDI, GO TO appropedia.org/Diabetes_mel...

Please report your future experience (good or bad) here for the benefit of others.
