I am 65 , being on multiple medicines -12 per day -for Type 2 diabetes with hypertension for the last 35 years -any better alternative ?

Some of the medicines being consumed by me may be carcinogenic ( like onglyza )?( It induces skin rash ). I would appreciate a specialist to advise me .
