what i know is type I can be controlled by taking insulin injections and whereas type II can be

controlled with medicines and type II is very common and not so severe like type I.

IN TYPE -1 , PANCREAS IN NOT WORKING AT ALL .THAT MEANS, SECRETION OF INSULIN IS NOT THERE FROM PANCREAS-BETA CELLS HAVE BECOME DORMANT.IN SUCH CASE ,ONE HAS TO TAKE INSULULIN INJECTIONS BEFORE TAKING MEALS.IN TYPE -2, PANCREAS IS WORKING PARTIALLY AS ALPHA CELLS ARE SECRETING INSULIN LESS THAN REQUIRED AND THAT CAN BE COMPENSATED BY TAKING TABLETS.
