For diabetics there is no fasting or feasting. If eat lunch in any function (i.e a feast) my sugar level goes up above 200. If I eat at home (i.e my moderate meal) the sugar level will be 160 to 170 which is permissible and normal. So we , diabetics have to watch out. Even if go to parties we should be careful and limit ourselves to moderate food in take. The calorific value of the food should be less.

Yes...absolutely right.Many people think that fasting will help.But it proves worse.Be healthy!!

Fasting is not all good because it may lead to hypoglycemia which is dangerous.

Correctly told by indira, no fasting or feasting. We have to eat compulsorily at the time we usually do and we have to watch total calorie intake. The best way is to start in such parties by taking lot of green salad like cucumber and eat it before eating anything else. This way we will feel full without exceeding our calorie intake
