A month ago I received a blog in my Facebook regarding the amazing features of VINDI ! Regular taking of it will not only control your blood sugar but also might stop taking of insulin. Just take fresh VENDI, cut the both end and also make a cross section into four pieces. Put the VENDI into a glass of water for the whole night and in the morning just drink the water in empty stomach. Don't worry it will not harm to your body but will definitely curb down your blood sugar level. Within a few week you will find a great result!!!
My random sugar was 241 which was uncontrollable with medicines and taking vindi regularly for two weeks my sugar has come down to Fasting>140 and PP>158. Presently, I require to curb down my medicines.

I have been doing this for quite sometime now. I am sorry to say that it is not as magical as described. Blood sugar readings of FBS 140 and PP are wishful thinking. As for me, with a FBS of 90 my PP readings is over 200 just with 1.5 chapatti and an egg.
Dear Matuli, though i am not a Doctor, but I will suggest you to get opinion of a Doctor to get revised your medicines, since PP with 200 for quite a long time might harm you. But honestly, i am getting helpful with Vindi.
It depends upon you, 1 if it a large one otherwise 2 if it is small. Try to extract as much as you can.
I agree with Matuli. This therapy has been in use for ages in south India. I have tried this therapy myself over a continuous period of time and have had mixed results, I must say. Initially, when I started this therapy about 5 years ago, the results were astounding in that my BS came to normal levels. But it is not so anymore. I really don't find any effect now. Can't really understand why! Anybody there who can explain this?
Dear friend, the extract of vegetable varies from body to body. While bitter is effective to some one's body the other vegetable extract may be helpful to others. If you are not getting any positive result with this therapy try others or use to take the vindi extract in the morning and evening also.
Dear friend, I don't take any ayurvedic medicines. In the morning I used to do some free-hand exercise. Take medicines as per Dr's advice and at evening get a walk for 4 KM.

Last month in one of TV program I learnt of a treatment of Sugar (Diabetes). Since I am diabetic, I tried it and it was very useful and my Sugar is in control now. In fact I have already reduced my medicine.
Directions:
Take two pieces of Lady Finger
Remove/cut both ends of each Piece.
Put a small cut in the middle and put these two pieces in glass of water.

Dear Mr. dbb1950 cinnamon is good for diabetic but its a blood thinner as well, so if anyone is taking a blood thinner medicine like Ecosprin it could be dangerous as well.
Seems to have substance. I recollect having heard in my early childhood that eating raw BHINDI ( 4 - 5) is very advantageous. In fact I used to eat earlier. It is tasty.
