My visiting relatives from UK are of the opinion that Januvia is better than Amaryl and I should check with my Dr to get it prescribed for me. I have had type II for the past 3 years and has been taking Amaryl 2mg regularly twice daily at breakfast and dinner time. Please advise. My glucose levels shows 225-250 two hours after breakfast or dinner. I am 58 years old and my parents had diabetics too. We live in Andhra Pradesh, South India and our family eat both veg and non-veg foods. I use sugar free for my Tea or Coffee and try not to eat to many rasgullas or sweets.
